Using the patches.
Common questions about application, timing, and getting the best results.
How long should I wear each patch?
We recommend 6-8 hours, ideally overnight. The patch is working as long as it stays clear. Once it turns white and opaque it has fully absorbed — remove it and apply a fresh one if needed.
Can I wear the patches during the day?
Yes. Torviana patches are ultra-thin and designed to sit discreetly on skin. Many people wear them under makeup or visibly as a protective barrier. The patch won't slide or peel with normal daily activity.
Which size patch should I use?
Each box includes 8mm and 14mm sizes. Use 8mm for smaller, targeted blemishes. Use 14mm for larger or more spread-out spots. The best size covers the entire blemish with a small overlap onto clear surrounding skin.
Why didn't my patch turn white?
The patch turns white when it absorbs fluid from an active, open blemish. If your spot is a closed comedone with no visible head, there's less surface fluid to draw out. The patch still acts as a protective barrier, but the dramatic white saturation is most visible with active whiteheads and pustules.
